Cerralvo Island
Cerralvo Island (Isla Cerralvo), also known by its official name Jacques Cousteau Island, is a raw, untamed, and spectacularly beautiful desert island located in the Sea of Cortez, just off the coast of La Paz, Mexico.
The nutrient-rich waters are incredibly clear and teeming with life. You can snorkel with:
Vast schools of fish: Jacks, grunts, and snapper.
Sea lions: Playful and curious colonies.
- Dolphins and turtles: 8 species of dolphins and 3 species of turtles.
Even manta rays are common sights. The underwater visibility is frequently exceptional.
