Magdalena Bay
Nestled on the Pacific coast of Baja California Sur, Magdalena Bay is a vast, wild estuary where the desert literally flows into the sea, creating a unique ecosystem of immense sand dunes, serene mangrove lagoons, and rich waters that erupt into breathtaking wildlife spectacles—from the organized chaos of sardine bait balls being attacked by diving mobiles of birds and pursued by striped marlin and sea lions, to the incredible chance to snorkel alongside friendly mani mani (yellowtail jacks) right off the beach, all while the haunting call of the coyote echoes from the surrounding dunes at dusk.
